She is particularly interested in questions of gender and sexuality and with how these identity categories are lived and experienced within social institutions.\nHer key research interests therefore lie with questions related to gender\, social justice\, student and teacher identity and with wider social justice issues within educational discourse and practice.\nEmily is is also concerned with popular culture\, public pedagogies and audience studies\, particularly with online fandom and with media and popular culture as pedagogical tools.\n\n \nA/Prof Nada Hamad\n\nA/Prof Nada Hamad is a senior staff specialist bone marrow transplant\, cellular therapies\, clinical and laboratory haematologist at St Vincent’s hospital in Sydney\, where she is also director of the haematology clinical trials unit. She is President of Australia and New Zealand Transplant and Cellular Therapies and chairs a number of national and international committees in the field of transplantation and cellular therapies.\nShe studied Medicine at the University of Sydney and completed her Haematology training in Sydney. Prior to her career in medicine\, she completed a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Forensics\, working in this field for a short period of time. She completed two post-graduate fellowships in BMT and lymphoma at the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre in Toronto Canada through the University of Toronto.\nShe is an active clinical trialist and researcher. A/Prof Hamad is an intersectional feminist with an academic interest in gender equity\, diversity and inclusion in medicine (MEDI). She has previously worked with WDV as a violence prevention practitioner\, sharing the Our Right to Safety Resources with communities and workforces across Victoria.\n\n \nDr Kate Gregorevic\n\nDr Kate Gregorevic is a geriatrician and general physician at the Royal Melbourne Hospital. She is also the clinical lead for chronic disease prevention and management at Safer Care Victoria. She has previously done research into the impact of psychosocial factors on frailty and also has an interest in quality improvement in healthcare.\nWhilst also being a Mum to three children\, Kate’s adjunct interest to medicine is writing about science and health\, with a particular focus on the intersection between psychological\, social and physical factors. She published her first book in 2020 called Staying Alive: the science of living healthier\, happier and longer\n\n \nDr Gillian Singleton\n\n\nGill is a general practitioner\, who works pro bono and is the former Medical Director at the Cabrini Outreach Asylum Seeker and Refugee Health Hub in Melbourne. She also works as a Senior Medical Advisor and an examiner for the RACGP\, a performance assessor for AHPRA and reviewer for the Australian Journal of General Practice. She runs a digital health start up business In2health\, focussed on chronic disease prevention and has a keen interest in research (being a self-confessed stats nerd).  \n\n\nGill is passionate about lots of things including social justice and health equity\, asylum seeker health\, mental health\, preventive medicine and medical education.
