The Victorian Medical Women’s Society (VMWS), a not for profit organisation, is a voice for medical women advocating for the improvement of the health and welfare of all persons, especially women and children in the Australian community.
VMWS is a member of the Australian Federation of Medical Women, which is affiliated with Medical Women’s International Association (MWIA).
We are medical students, doctors-in-training, GPs and specialists working in hospitals, private practice and in administration.
We have members on multiple national women’s lobby groups, particularly in relationship to women’s health, and we have networks across the world.
