We are beyond excited to announce Dr. Jill Tomlinson as this year’s Constance Stone Oration recipient! 🏆
Dr. Tomlinson is a powerhouse in the medical field and beyond. As a Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon, President of AMA Victoria, and a mum to three young children, her contributions and leadership continue to inspire. She has held esteemed positions in the Victorian Medical Women’s Society, Australian Federation of Medical Women, and Royal Australasian College of Surgeons, while also being a Specialty Editor with the Australian and New Zealand Journal of Surgery since 2012.
Her achievements don’t stop there—she’s a published author in international journals, a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, a recipient of the inaugural Brilliant Women in Digital Health awards, a PADI-certified deep scuba diver, and a two-time marathon runner. 💪✨
The Constance Stone Oration, awarded annually by VMWS, celebrates the legacy of Dr. Constance Stone, Australia’s first registered female doctor, while honouring the remarkable achievements of medical women.
