VMWS is once again hosting our CV Writing Seminar. Led by A/Prof Deb Colville, the evening will provide tips and advice for CV writing, using (anonymised) real examples. The main presentation will then be followed by an open Q&A! VMWS is proud to once again to host a Personalised CV Review, a unique opportunity to have your CV professionally reviewed.

WHEN: Thursday 19th May 2022, 7-9pm

WHO: This event is open to all VMWS and AFMW members!

VENUE: Zoom. All registrants will be sent a Zoom Link within 24 hours of the event.

TICKET OPTIONS:

The first 10 CVs received will be reviewed for free, and those submitted after will cost $60 per CV, with all proceeds going to VMWS.

  • CV Event + Free personalised CV feedback (10 tickets): $48
  • CV Event + Paid personalised CV feedback, with $25 discount to attend event (10 tickets): $100
  • CV Event Only (Unlimited): $48

All CVs will be reviewed and returned before the CV writing seminar event. Please note part/s of CVs submitted may be used anonymously as part of the CV Writing Seminar.

PLEASE NOTE WE ARE ONLY ABLE TO ACCEPT THE FIRST 20 CVs, so please submit your interest early to avoid disappointment!

CVs are due 8th of May 2022 midnight and must be submitted via this Google Form.

EVENT RECORDING:

The event will be recorded and available for play back for 2 weeks post event for attendees.

Who is A/Prof Deb Coville?

A/Prof Coville is an ophthalmologist from Victoria who is trained in paediatric ophthalmology, public health, women’s health, gender and medical education, health policy making and leadership.

Deb was the Director of Ophthalmology at Austin Repatriation Medical Centre and recently retired from the College of Surgeons Council and as Chair of the RACS Women in Surgery Committee, a position she held for nine years.

She was the past Director of Curriculum Development at the Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital. Deb currently serves as a Non- Executive Director of a Victorian Rural Health Service, Chair of its Clinical Governance Committee.
