We have a few exciting and important VMWS events approaching, the details of which you can find in this February newsletter.
First off is our annual ‘How We Do What We Do’ event, with the especially important theme this year of ‘Women in Leadership.’ This interactive workshop will be held on March 5th, 6.30 pm at Women’s Health Victoria (Level 8, 255 Bourke Street, Melbourne).
Keeping with tradition, we will be hosting a historical tour of Melbourne on March 7th, tracing the steps of significant events in the history of women in medicine. We will be meeting on the steps of Parliament House at 9 am.
In the meantime, you can tune in to radio station 3RRR on February 27th from 7:00-8:00 pm to listen to myself and Dr Merrilyn Murnane AM, former VMWS president and author of Honourable Healers, talk about the past and present of VMWS.
