Under the provisions of the Victorian Medical Women’s Society Model Rules, committee members are elected annually. You must be a member of VMWS in order to be eligible.
We are now calling for nominations for the following Committee positions:

Newsletter/Web Content Editor
Promotions Officer
Sponsorship Officer
Senior Members’ Representative
AMA Representative
National Council of Women Victoria Representative
Women’s Health Victoria Representative
General Committee Member (4 members required)
Public Officer
Archivist
University Student Representatives (Monash, Melbourne, Deakin, Notre Dame)
AFMW Representative (2 members required for 2021-2023)

Positions can be shared with other members, and can be ‘shadowed’ by student members. It is possible to hold more than one position at one time. If more than one nomination is received for any one position and these applicants do not wish to share the role, a vote will be held.
Nominations must be in writing and should be signed by the candidate and if applicable, seconded by a member of the Committee (if you do not know a member of the Committee, please leave that section blank).
