Increasing numbers of Australian women are seeking medical advice with concerns about the appearance of their labia minora or majora and asking about genital cosmetic surgery. Former VMWS President, Dr Magdalena Simonis, has written guidelines for general practitioners to help them support and counsel women with concerns about their appearance, as often these concerns arise through lack of knowledge of genital anatomy.
