This Book Launch and Historical Exhibition was held at the Medical Museum in the Brownless Library, University of Melbourne, on Monday April 15th, 2019. The exhibition will remain open until November 2, 2019.

A number of VMWS members attended the launch including Dr Magdalena Simonis, President; Dr Rosalie Cooper, Treasurer; Dr Kathleen Hayes, Life Member; and Dr Elysia Robb, Committee member.
The book includes historical information about past and present VMWS members who were associated with the Women’s and some links with the Queen Victoria Medical Centre in the care of obstetric and neonatal paediatric patients. There are also stories of nursing and midwifery training. The exhibition also acknowledges the stories and traditions of the traditional owners of the land.
